I did some "Googling" and just found out about this whole lawsuit thing, which seems really silly if you ask me.
What does it take to make steam? Water and heat right? So if you mist water into a heated area... steam. So Lg uses a steam generator. They're just mad because they spent more money making their steam dryer than Whirlpool did, and Whirlpool might sell more because they are a better known brand, and they just want some money too. So a steam generator, it's not inside the actual dryer drum right? The Steam has to get into the dryer drum, so it will cool a bit first.. ( they have a nozzle in the back) so how is that SO different than the Whirlpool steam? They just make the steam in the dryer drum instead of in a seperate generator... Not rocket science I don't think.
I think what this previous comment meant by Efficient, was that the dryer does an effective job getting the wrinkles out, not energy efficient. (By the way, you are super quick to bash people who comments that disagree with your opinions).
Anyway- All I care about is results, will this thing get rid of wrinkles and odors or not? Yes. Except LG has this thing that makes garments "easier to iron." I don't want to have to put something in the dryer for 20+ minutes then have to iron it! A normal ironing may only take 5-10 minutes, so now it will be 20+ 5 min to be ready to wear? What the heck. I want my clothes to be ready to wear when I take them out of the steam cycle, and that's what Whirlpoool's will do.
I am leaning towards Whirlpool honestly, it's a bit cheaper and it's made in the US for goodness sake. Blah blah blah, yeah not all of the parts are from here, but at least Whirlpool's headquarters are in the US and it's major manufacturing is here as well, instead of Korea.
Thank you and have a nice day.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
